Technical Sales Support Rep
Responsibilities
- Primary point of contact for customer concerns regarding
product performance. Contact methods may include email and/or
telephone through Customer Care Department.
- Maintain "Technical Voice of the Customer" data
for distribution to Production, Quality, and Sales staff
- Accurate and timely follow up on information with customer
as well as ensuring corrective action has been accurately implemented.
- Review new projects with Maverick Engineering Dept.; ensuing
optimum performance of the capsule at the customer's facility
as well as manufacturability for Maverick.
- Follow through of all new projects from inception through
delivery. Review initial printing, slitting, and forming of
product for accuracy and quality. Confirmation of bottle sizing/tooling
allocation for new projects.
- Interact with Customer Care Dept. regarding special requirements
of customers; e.g. special delivery, labeling, or packaging
information.
- Continuously audit product specifications to ensure accuracy
of production and meeting individual customer’s requirements.
- Position reports to Technical Sales Manager and VP of Sales.
Requirements
- Mechanical aptitude with 3 years winery production experience
is preferred
- Knowledge of capsule dispensing and application equipment,
screw cap dispensing and application equipment, and overall
winery production environment.
- Excellent customer service skills, professional interpersonal
communication (email and phone).
- Computer experience in MS Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
- CA driver’s license is required. Requires travel to
bottling facilities throughout Mendocino, Sonoma, and Napa counties.
